NENNET is a EU FP6 project aimed at stimulating network building in fields of innovation that are of particular interest for Lithuania: photovoltaics, hydrogen and fuel cells, nanotechnologies and material science. Moreover, the attractiveness of Lithuania as a location of research and development is communicated to an international public.
The platform is aimed at presenting the project, its results and the R&D location Lithuania.
Building on these aims, the platform provide information on

- Fields of innovation relevant to Lithuania
- The R&D and business location Lithuania
In addition, it offer a services like news channel, calendar of events, contact database, literature, interesting links, workshop reports and other.
PRESS RELEASE (July 2007)
An international consortium led by the leading R&D organizations in nanosciences and energy research in Lithuania, just completed a three-year FP6 SSA project NENNET ('High Quality Research Network on Nanosciences, Material and Energy Research in Lithuania'), which aimed to put into practice at national level the ideas of converging technologies in the areas vital for the economic growth of EU countries, i.e. technologies for renewable sources of energy and energy saving.
